The Dog and The Palace
The Dog and The Palace was an ambitious split-screen arts project, by the disabled film-maker Gary Thomas.
I produced the film, which stars actor Reece Donn as "Darren", a young boy who is so inspired by the Olympic and Paralympic Games that he sends a statue of his beloved dog to the Queen. Whilst watching a celebratory parade of Olympians, he is amazed and overwhelmed to spot his dog beside the entrance to Buckingham Palace. The film was shown in galleries and on big screens during the summer of 2012 as part of The Paralympic celebrations. |
