Deaf Sisterhood 

Deaf Sisterhood followed the journey of Aran, as she met members of the Deaf Muslim community. As a young Christian going out with a Muslim man, she wanted to know more about the religion and the culture.  

This half hour doc for BSLBT is in British Sign Language, and was shown on Film Four and the Community Channel, as well as at Deaf Film Festivals internationally.

I was the hearing member of the team, working alongside a Deaf co-producer and Deaf DoP and production team.  During the course of filming I passed my BSL Level One. As well as co-producing the film, I was production manager and edit producer for Redbird Productions.
